Mary Edith (Harmon) Darst (1922-1990), the daughter of Harry and Margaret Lemmon Harmon and wife of Daniel Clinton Darst (1920-1993), passed away at Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio.

Mary Edith Harmon Darst, 67, of 345 McConnell Ave., died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, 1990, at Bethesda Hospital.

Mrs. Darst spent most of her life in Zanesville and was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church.

She was born July 28, 1922, in Zanesville, a daughter of Harry and Margaret Lemmon Harmon Sr.

Surviving are her husband, Daniel C. Darst Sr. of the home; two sons, Daniel C. Darst Jr. and Paul R. Darst, both of Shelby, N.C.; five daughters, Debbie Williams of Shelby, N.C., Sondra Mathews and Mrs. Fred (Rosalind) Kennedy, both of Zanesville, Joyce Birkhimer of Dresden and Vickie Darst of Zanesville; one sister, Marguerite Moats of Newark; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers.
