Ralph Clayton Darst 1900-1960

Ralph Clayton Darst (1900-1960); the son of Daniel Clinton Darst (1869-1919); the son of John Garlinger Darst (1833-1913); the son of Martin Darst (1796-1880), passed away in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio.

Ralph C. Darst, 60, of Route 5, died early Saturday morning at Good Samaritan Hospital where he had been a patient for 10 days.

He had been in decling health for the past year.

A retired employee of the Burnham Corp., he was born in Indiana on Jan. 20, 1900, the son of Daniel and Mary Vance Darst. He had lived in Muskingum County for 54 years.

Surviving are his widow, Hazel, of the home, and a brother, Paul, of 384 Stewart street. Two brothers preceded him in death.

The body was taken to the Delong & Baker Funeral Home where friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday.
