Daniel Clinton Darst 1920-1993

Daniel Clinton Darst (1920-1993); the son of Paul Remone Darst (1895-1975); the son of Daniel Clinton Darst (1869-1919); the son of John Garlinger Darst (1833-1913); the son of Martin Darst (1796-1880), passed away at Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio.

ZANESVILLE -- Daniel Clinton Darst Sr., 73, of 1856 Adams Lane, died at 12:23 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 1993, at Adams Lane Care Center.
Mr. Darst was born Feb. 28, 1920, in Zanesville. He was a retired electrical engineer for Fasco Inc. in Shelby, N.C., and a former employee of United Technologies. He was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Rosalind Kennedy and Sondra Mathews, both of Zanesville, Debbie Williams and Vickie Darst, both of Shelby, N.C. and Joyce Birkhimer of Dresden; two sons, Daniel C. Darst Jr. and Paul R. Darst, both of Shelby, N.C.; two sisters, Viola Gilg and Bonnie Leach, both of Zanesville; and 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Mary Edith Harmon Darst on Jan. 9, 1990, and his parents, Paul R. and Mae Warner Darst.
